Cappadocia in August: the hottest and busiest month, when the dawn balloon flight and the early evening are the only comfortable hours to be outside.

July is peak summer in Cappadocia: daytime highs around 31°C, overnight lows near 16°C, about 11 hours of sunshine and roughly one rain day all month. Balloons launch around 5:30am and are cancelled only about 2% of the time. Mornings on the 1,000m plateau feel 8-10°C colder than the midday forecast.
