December gives Marrakech clear 19C days, a white Atlas and the Sahara at its best – cheap for three weeks, then the most expensive week of the year as Europe arrives.

November gives Marrakech most of what October does – 23C days, the desert at its best, the first Atlas snow – with rates falling all month and free film screenings in Jemaa el-Fna.

September eases Marrakech from 37C to 33C and falling – so the last ten days give you close to October conditions at summer prices, before the autumn peak arrives.

August keeps Marrakech at 37C and near its annual price floor, while Moroccan families fill the Atlantic coast at its peak – the biggest price split of the Moroccan year.

July is the hottest month in Marrakech at 38C, with the chergui pushing past 45C – and the cheapest, if you build the trip around the riad, the early morning and Essaouira.

June pushes Marrakech to 33C and turns the medina into a morning-and-evening city – while rates fall, the riad pool justifies itself and Essaouira runs the Gnaoua festival ten degrees cooler.

May is the last month you can walk the Marrakech medina at midday – 29C and dry, with Eid al-Adha expected around the 17th closing much of the city for two to three days.

April is Marrakech at 25C – the medina comfortable all day, the pools warm, the Atlas green with snowmelt and the desert pleasant. High season, and the one month everything works at once.

February warms Marrakech to 20C, opens the almond blossom across the Atlas foothills, and in 2027 brings Ramadan from around the 8th – which makes the evenings the best of the year.

January gives Marrakech clear days at 18C, a snow-capped Atlas visible from every rooftop and low-season prices – and nights at 6C in riads built for summer.
