Contact
One email address. We answer everything ourselves.
Replies usually within 48 hours, sometimes faster, never slower than a week. We are a small editorial team and we read every message — there is no support queue, no autoresponder bouncing you between departments, no offshore reply farm.
What to write about
Corrections. If something on the site is wrong — a price that has changed, a visa rule that has been updated, a closed restaurant we still recommend, a misspelled neighborhood — please tell us. Put Correction in the subject line so it goes to the top of the pile. We update pages directly; we do not bury fixes in footnotes.
Travel data issues. Exchange rate looks off, a tool calculation seems wrong, a sitemap link is dead, a featured image is broken. Same address, subject line Bug or Data. Include the URL you were on and what you expected to see. We log every report and fix in priority order.
Press and partnerships. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored guides, or affiliate-cloaking content. We do work with brands we genuinely use and trust — usually in the form of clearly-disclosed product reviews or honest comparisons. Subject line Partnership if you want to start that conversation. We respond to every pitch, even the ones we decline.
Reader feedback. Something we should write about? A destination we have missed? An itinerary we got wrong because we visited in the wrong season? Tell us. Most of our best guides started with reader emails.
General inquiries. Anything else, same address. Subject line is optional but appreciated.
Who actually replies
John Morrison (founder and lead writer) handles most editorial and partnership emails. Drew Treasury (contributing writer) handles urban-destination corrections in their coverage areas. Both of us read everything that comes in. No virtual assistants, no chatbots, no template responses.
What we will not do
We will not accept guest posts, link-insertions, or “collaborations” where the deliverable is a backlink. We will not review products we have not used. We will not write about destinations we have not visited first-hand. We will not run pop-up advertising, sell email addresses, or send promotional emails dressed up as travel content.
If your pitch is one of those, we will politely decline — we just want to be upfront about it.
If you would rather not email
You can also find us in the open. Our HTML sitemap lists every page on the site, our About page introduces who we are, our Editorial Standards page documents how we work in full, and our writing shows our actual approach. We have no Substack, no Patreon, no Discord, no private group chat. Packzup is a website, run by writers, paid for by reader-supported affiliate links that we always disclose on the page where the recommendation appears.
For an example of one of those disclosures, open any destination guide — the disclosure is in the page where the recommendation lives, not buried in a footer.
Response time, in plain numbers
- Most emails: replied to within 48 hours.
- Corrections with a clear URL + screenshot: usually fixed the same day.
- Partnership pitches: 5–7 business days for a real read and a real answer.
- Press / media: 48 hours, faster if you have a deadline (mention it in the subject line).
If a week has gone by without a reply, please assume the email got lost and send it again — we are not ignoring you.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will you reply?
Most emails get a response within 48 hours. Corrections with a clear URL are usually fixed the same day. Partnership pitches take 5–7 business days for a real read.
Do you accept guest posts or paid placements?
No. We do not accept guest posts, paid links, sponsored articles, or content collaborations where the deliverable is a backlink. Every word on Packzup is written by a named editor who paid their own way to the place.
How do I report an error or outdated information?
Email editorial@packzup.com with “Correction” in the subject line. Include the URL and what you found. We update pages directly — no buried footnotes, no excuses.
Do you have an affiliate or partnership program?
We work with a small number of brands we have actually used and would recommend regardless. If you want to start that conversation, email editorial@packzup.com with “Partnership” in the subject. We respond to every real pitch, including the ones we decline.
Can I republish or syndicate Packzup articles?
Not without written permission. Our content is original first-hand reporting; we license excerpts case-by-case to editorial outlets. Email us with “Republish” in the subject and include the article URL plus where you would like to use it.
How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. We process it immediately and never re-add unsubscribed addresses.
