Most welcoming countries
Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, UK, Ireland, Canada, USA (most states), New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, Uruguay, Belgium, Switzerland, full legal recognition + cultural acceptance.
Welcoming with caveats
Italy (legal recognition, mixed acceptance in south), Greece (legal recognition, mixed acceptance outside Athens/Mykonos), Czech Republic, Thailand (accepting but limited legal protections), Vietnam (no laws but generally accepting in cities), Mexico (legal recognition since 2015, accepting in cities, conservative in rural).
