Reviewed September 2026

If you only take one thing from this cluster: November is the best month to visit Dubai. Days average about 30°C, nights are a comfortable 20°C, and the sea is still 28°C from the summer. It is the one month that gives you winter’s comfort and summer’s warm water at the same time – and it does it before December’s prices arrive.

The weather, precisely

Typical November conditions in Dubai, against an annual range of about 24 °C in January to 42 °C in August.

The reason November wins is the combination, not any single number. In January the air is lovely but the sea is 22°C. In August the sea is 34°C but you cannot go outside. November is the overlap:

  • 30°C days – warm enough for the beach, cool enough to walk the souks at midday.
  • 20°C nights – perfect for outdoor dining, rooftops and the fountain show, without needing a jacket.
  • 28°C sea – genuinely pleasant swimming, still holding summer heat.
  • Low humidity and effectively no rain.

Everything is open

  • Global Village is in full season, having reopened around mid-October.
  • The Dubai Miracle Garden typically opens for its season around 1 November; dates announced annually.
  • Desert overnight camps are comfortable again – warm days, cool nights, no extreme at either end.
  • Beach clubs, terraces and rooftops are all running.
  • Outdoor markets, festivals and events are at their densest as the season builds.

November is the only month with comfortable air and a warm sea at the same time.

Two things that lift prices

  • The Dubai Airshow is held in odd-numbered years, usually in November – so 2027 is a show year. It is one of the largest aerospace events in the world and it fills hotels across the city for its week. Check the dates before booking.
  • The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix is normally the season finale in late November or early December at Yas Marina. Although it is in Abu Dhabi, it lifts Dubai hotel rates for that weekend too, and many visitors stay in Dubai and drive down.

Outside those two windows, November sits below the December-to-March peak.

Prices and crowds

Rates climb steadily through November towards the winter high, so the first half is materially better value than the last. It remains, with April, the best value-for-weather month of the year. See what a Dubai trip costs.

What to pack

Summer clothing and swimwear, plus one light layer for the evening – 20°C after dark is pleasant but not warm, and a desert night will be cooler. Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses still apply. Comfortable walking shoes, because November is a walking month. Modest options for mosques, souks and older districts.

The November 2027 calendar

  • Around Monday 1 November – the Dubai Miracle Garden opens for its season; dates announced annually.
  • Through November – Global Village in full season; desert overnight camps comfortable again.
  • Usually November, odd-numbered years – the Dubai Airshow; 2027 is a show year and it fills hotels citywide.
  • Late November or early December – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina; lifts Dubai rates for the weekend.
  • Through November – 30°C days, 20°C nights, a 28°C sea, no rain.
  • First half of November – better value than the second, before the winter peak.
  • No fixed UAE public holidays fall in November; Commemoration Day and National Day follow on 1 to 3 December.
