- Late September for the first proper evening walks along the marina, the canal and JBR.

Summer clothing, loose and covering. A hat, strong sunscreen, sunglasses. A layer for indoor air conditioning, which is still set very cold. Swimwear, sandals, a refillable bottle. If you are travelling in the last week, add one light evening layer – you may actually want to sit outside. Modest options for mosques, souks and older districts.
